FAQs

How much will my visit cost me?

Your cost will depend on your specific insurance coverage and whether or not you have a deductible, co-insurance or co-payment. It is impossible to determine before your visit what tests/procedures/services may be ordered or performed as part of your care, and these are considered separate charges. You will have an office visit or consultation, and these can vary in cost from $100-$350 depending on the type of visit and what network discounts are applied by your insurance company.

I don’t have health insurance. Do you offer any cash-pay pricing?

For patients that do not have insurance coverage, a $150 “deposit” is due at the time of the initial visit and will be applied to your account. A finalized bill with the remaining balance will be sent to you after the self-pay discount has been applied to the total charges.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

How can I pay my bill?

We have an online payment option that can be accessed by clicking the “Online Bill Pay” link at the top of the site. You will need your account number to complete the transaction. You can also pay over the phone by calling our Billing Department at 913-663-5151. To mail payments, send to:

I’ve already paid my balance. Why did I receive another bill?

Payments are not posted to your account on the same day you made them. If the statement date is close to your payment date it is possible that they crossed in the mail.

I did not have surgery. Why is a surgery listed on my explanation of benefits?

In order to more precisely diagnose and treat your condition, the physician may perform certain in-office procedures during the course of your visit (e.g. nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy). These require the use of additional tools and/or equipment. They are generally not included in the standard office visit and are billed separately from your visit charges. Depending on your individual insurance policy and carrier, these procedures may be classified as “surgery” on your explanation of benefits. Our physicians are highly trained specialists and want to make certain that all appropriate steps are taken to provide you with the absolute best medical care possible.
